Infinite Reality Boosts Commerce Capabilities With Acquisition of Zappar for $45M

The two companies aim to shape "the future of extended reality"

Extended reality firm Infinite Reality is acquiring extended reality creative shop Zappar for $45 million.

Infinite Reality bills itself as an “innovation company” that uses artificial intelligence, spatial computing, and other immersive technologies to power its solutions for commerce, community, and digital media.

Infinite Reality said its acquisition of Zappar better positions it to reshape its commerce and digital media experiences.

“Zappar’s strong European presence and partnerships with global brands align perfectly with our expansion strategy,” Infinite Reality co-founder and chief business officer Amish Shah said.
