CBS Evening News to Move Back to New York in Format Overhaul

CBS News is moving quickly with its plans for CBS Evening News once Norah O’Donnell departs the evening newscast. The news outlet announced that the broadcast after the election will move back to New York after a five-year stint in Washington, D.C. and will be anchored by John Dickerson and Maurice DuBois.

Other changes coming to the broadcast include Margaret Brennan joining to lead coverage from Washington, D.C. CBS News’ chief foreign affairs correspondent and moderator of Face the Nation with Margaret Brennan will lead coverage when news breaks on the political and foreign affairs fronts.
