Another Gray-owned station is sharing resources to produce newscasts.
This time, the 4 p.m. and weekend news for Hazard, Kentucky CBS affiliate WYMT will originate from sister station WKYT in Lexington.
“Don’t worry, you will still see stories from Eastern Kentucky-based reporters and news from the area. That won’t change,” said the station. “What is changing is where the broadcast signal will originate and who you see behind the anchor desk during those newscasts.”
WYMT will continue producing the Mountain News This Morning, WYMT Mountain News at 5:30, Mountain News at 6 and Mountain News at 11 weekday newscasts live from Hazard.
