WANE anchor Alyssa Ivanson told viewers she will be off the air for the rest of 2024 to spend time with her family after the death of her infant daughter Joy.
“On November 3, 2024, Joy Agape was born at 12:35 am, but her soul was already in Heaven,” she wrote on Facebook. “Our hearts are broken in a way that no parent should have to endure, but we know we aren’t alone as so many others have also walked though a journey of pregnancy and infant loss.”
