Nick Federowicz, founder of Ad Patina, editor in chief of Watch Patina and a passionate vintage watch collector and enthusiast, has devoted his livelihood to tracking down rare vintage ads and custom framing them for a growing community of collectors.  

Federowicz, who often travels the globe to track down specific ads from exact magazine issues, will pen a monthly column for ADWEEK about the backstory behind some of his rarest and most interesting finds, speaking to the creatives and teams that brought the ads to life. 

“These ads have such a rich history, whether it’s the agencies, copywriters, art directors, design language, typography, imagery, esthetics, layout … there’s so much to sink your teeth into,” Federowicz told ADWEEK.
