Holiday shopping at Walmart is about to get dramatic, as the retailer blurs the lines between advertising and entertainment for its Black Friday campaign.

Today (Nov. 11), Walmart debuted “Deals of Desire,” a 10-part series that pays homage to various genres of entertainment while promoting its Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals.

The first episode, “Sister, Swindler,” is a soap opera spoof starring Lisa Rinna, best known for her roles in the NBC daytime soap opera Days of Our Lives and in the 1990s Fox series Melrose Place.

In the spot, Rinna’s character is in for a shock when she discovers a secret twin sister who happens to be wearing “cuter shoes.”
