Lo Bosworth's Reality TV Trauma Sparked Her Entrepreneurial Journey

Last year, wellness brand Love Wellness generated $50 million in sales

Lauren “Lo” Bosworth might have become a household name thanks to appearing on reality TV shows The Hills and Laguna Beach, but her decision to found wellness brand Love Wellness in 2016 stems from wanting to prove that she was more than a TV star.

“Growing up in the entertainment industry can create a lot of trauma,” she on stage at ADWEEK’s Brandweek event in Phoenix, Ariz. “Building this business, and wanting to tell my real story and who I really am, comes out of this trauma response of being so desperate for people to know me for who I really am.”
