Symone Woolridge to Anchor for KMSP in Minneapolis

Symone Woolridge has joined Minneapolis Fox-owned station KMSP as evening news anchor.

Starting in December, she’ll co-anchor the Fox 9 at 5 p.m. newscast alongside Kelcey Carlson, the Fox 9 at 5:30 with Amy Hockert, as well as the Fox 9 at 6:30 newscast with Tim Blotz.

“Symone will make the perfect addition to our evolving news team as she is a true 21st-century journalist who understands the importance of creating original content across all platforms, beyond her role at the anchor desk,” said vice president and news director, Kelly Bishop-Huffman.

Woolridge has spent nearly 3 years as the weekday morning anchor for WTMJ4 in Milwaukee.
