Wpromote Names Tech Exec Andrea Bendzick CEO

Independent media agency Wpromote has hired Andrea Bendzick as CEO, the agency shared exclusively with ADWEEK.

She succeeds Wpromote founder Mike Mothner, who will remain on the agency’s board of directors.

The choice continues the performance agency’s strategy of leaning on Silicon Valley for new hires. Bendzick had most recently been CEO at Astreya Partners, a provider of IT managed services and technology solutions, where she spent five-and-a-half years.

Prior to Astreya, she held C-suite roles at companies including NTT Data and HP.
